In the course of 2014-2015 the DARPA State Department launched the EXACTO project to develop a .50 BMG rocket that can be self-directed in the air using optical technology and high-precision directional mechanisms. Within small and large power, the EXACTO project enables the optical sensor to be used, and the detector to detect the target laser can be used up to 30 times per second. Developers may not have to design hundreds of rounds at regular speeds because the test rounds are forced to use the EXACT method, so the sensor still moves and the small rounds that receive the target can be used up to 2,000 times faster than the actual test, but the actual test rate of the rocket is still not very high.
