The mystery of the Atlas Pass, an unsolved case, On a cold night of February 1, 1959, a group of nine Russian climbers camped on a snow slope near the Atlas Mountains on the Ural Mountains, the sky above the head of a snake, only the sound of a strong wind blowing through the tents and the trees of the cold, bare trees, and no one knew at the time that they were about to become part of one of the most mysterious stories in modern history.
At dawn, the camp was found quietly, the tent ripped from the inside as if the people inside had to flee quickly in the midst of a snowstorm, the bodies of the climbers were found scattered throughout the area, some naked in the snow, their eyes stiff with fear, and some bodies with severe head injuries such as a cracked skull, eyebrows and a tongue that had disappeared without trace of an animal or a criminal. Soviet officials concluded at the time that the accident from a snowstorm was the cause of death, but the impact of one body was compared to a car accident, which was still not as fast as the reports of a broken skull, eyebrows and tongue.
Decades later, when technology was advanced enough, the expedition team returned to the same place with drones and infrared images, but without finding any new evidence. Tonight's Diatlov remains a mystery, the sound of the wind blowing through the summit and the crying of the past hidden in the cold winds forever, whenever the explorers made their way to the hills, they often said the same thing: "We feel like we're being watched", even though in the eye of the storm nobody can see it".
