The Thai Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the post of late Hon Sen, former Prime Minister and President of the Senate of Cambodia, had no legal effect on the situation of the border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia, stating that such a post was a personal statement and a clarification of the facts about the triangular area of the country (the border) where Cambodia claims to be its own territory only.
